Paediatric First Aid Awareness Training

This course will show learners how to recognise & assess the causes & effects of sudden illness &/or injury in a Pre-hospital environment & Call for Emergency Medical Services. You will learn how to deal with life threatening or potentially life-threatening conditions in the pre-hospital environment until the arrival of Emergency Medical Services.

This course is designed to provide childcare staff, young mother groups or family members with first aid skills specifically for children and infants.

Learn about how to assess a child or infant for injuries, how to deliver CPR, take the necessary steps required to treat choking, bleeding, burns & some other medical conditions specific to children & infants.

You will learn first aid skills useful for parents, babysitters, aunts, uncles, grand-parents & older siblings. 

This course is delivered over 5 to 6 hours.
