This course is for Healthcare Professionals who need to know how to perform Cardio-Pulmonary Resusication. (i.e. CPR) This course also covers other life-saving skills, both in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
This Basic Life Support (BLS) provider course is intended for those who typically work in the healthcare sector.
Healthcare workers may include General Practitioners, General and Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Managers and Staff Nurses, Paramedics, Dentists, Cardiac Technicians, Physiotherapists, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Nursing or Mid-wifery Students, Health Care Assistants (HCA).
Our BLS course is delivered by a qualified & experienced instructor who will use a DVD to guide you through the course. The course is delivered in English only. There is also a Blended Learning option available for this course. Contact us for more information.
The course is approximately 4 hours long. However, it depends on the number of students attending the course. Students will be assessed by means of practical scenarios as well as 25 Multiple Choice Questions. (i.e. MCQ)
Upon successful completeion of this course, learners will recieve a certificate lasting 2 years.
This course is certified by both the Irish Heart Foundation and American Heart Association it is recognised internationally.
