Fire Safety Awareness
This course trains learners how to deal with fire in their workplace. It highlights the dangers of fire & the importance of fire prevention.
It gives information on the Role of the Fire Warden. This course informs learners how to deal with fire in their workplace.
There is also a practical demonstration & practice of using Fire Extinguishers to put out a “live” fire. It gives information on the Role of the Fire Warden.
Fire Wardens
The Fire Warden training course provides learners with a comprehensive knowledge of their roles & responsibilities to become an effective Fire Warden. It can also give them guidance on what to do & what actions to take in the event of an outbreak of fire.
Most importantly, learners get an opportunity to extinguish a “live” fire using 2 types of extinguishers, a 2kg CO2 & a 6 Litre Foam extinguisher.
The course is divided into 2 parts - Theory & Practical.
Part 1 - The theory component covers topics such as Fire Safety Legislation, Choosing the correct extinguisher, Duties of a Fire Warden, Components of the Fire Triangle, Classes of Fire as well as the Fire Risk Assessment Process.
Part 2 - The practical component involves the use of a Fire Extinguisher by putting out a “live” fire.
Annbrook Safety Training can also deliver Fire Extinguisher Demonstrations, if required.
