Heart Saver CPR and AED Course

This Heart Saver CPR and AED Course will provide information and practical knowledge to those attending. It is delivered over 4 hours.

Learners will learn to deal with Cardiac Arrest based scenarios which can be Cardiac or Respiratory Emergencies. 

This course will show learners how to use an AED safely, when it should be used and who should use it. 

This course will have a lot of demonstration followed by practice and plenty of learner participation. It is a video-based, instructor-led
course that teaches Adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an Adult. Learners will be shown how to perform CPR and the safe use of AED. It will also focus heavily on the delivery of effective chest compressions and other life-saving skills.

It also covers topics such as Child and Infant CPR as well as how to deal with Choking Emergencies. 

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be issued with an Irish Heart Foundation / American Heart Association Bank Card sized Certificate.

The certificate issued will be valid for 2 years. 

This course is certified by both the Irish Heart Foundation and the American Heart Association. 

This course and certificate is recognised internationally.
